— this made my morning. although now i feel a bit sorry that i actually did not quote anybody. nor have i read any salinger or burroughs lately, which could have justified their words finding their way into my subconscious …
i like the question on what i study in life (et cetera) a lot more than the one related to my subject at uni, but i do not have a satisfying answer to it.
sometimes i am clumsy and touch things and they leave marks.
an entire circuit through norway, sweden, and finland is what is on my mind. i am particularly interested in the fjords, the lofoten, the north cape, and lapland, not necessarily any cities, but whilst being there i suppose it’s a shame not to visit stockholm, copenhagen, helsinki, and the like. and in case i get to experience polar lights on top of that i’d be perfectly content.
i do not dream about much else. a little peace, mainly.
Air - Alone in Kyoto
unfortunately no precise ones, no, but traveling makes up a huge portion of my daily waking dreams. some loose thoughts on escaping to scandinavia somewhen next year and touring around a bit through those areas of europe i have not yet been to. perhaps.
for the moment i am going to make do with a short trip to vienna to visit an old friend of mine. not quite the journey, but still a welcomed variation.
there is no particular favorite. i watch and read whatever gets in my sight, out of mere interest or while doing research.
but i have to admit anything on jonathan meese is comedic gold.
