you ever wonder if your blog is black and white because you have a tendency to oversimplify things? maybe to establish some order in your world and make otherwise random things behave in obvious patterns? that's what i think mine boils down to.
i hardly believe i have a tendency to “oversimplify” things, rather am i constantly questioning my surroundings — i have a need to understand, which is often more complicating things than simplifying them.
on the other hand i do not choose the imagery i post here based on wether they are black and white; it just happens to be that i am drawn to form and the composition of surfaces and structures, the play of light and un-light, if i may say so, more than colour and for the most part these works make do with the reduction of hue.
but nevertheless the reason for ones aesthetic perception is a very interesting topic and coincidentally one that mattered to me for quite some time now. thank you.
